Oboh James wrote:

Hi, guys —

Many Saints, and those in process of being one, have stayed after dead without decomposing for a long period of time.

  • Is there any special treatment done on these bodies to enable them to stay this long without decomposing?

Thanks!

Oboh

  { Is there any special treatment done on these incorrupt bodies that preserves their presence? }

Mary Ann replied:

Dear Oboh —

No there isn't, the whole point is that the bodies did not decompose, as even embalmed bodies do.

For some of the incorrupt, the faces and hands turn black and are coated with wax to mimic a natural skin tone.

Mary Ann
