Kaylie,
The Rosary is a prayer formula, kind of like a recipe for a stew. Altogether, the prayers make-up something:
- wonderful
- powerful, and
- simply awesome.
The Rosary consists of four sets of Mysteries. Many people pray the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious mysteries every day (and some, even the Luminous mysteries), yet if someone does just one of these sets of Mysteries daily, they have prayed the Rosary for that day.
If you can make time for it, do one set in the morning (the Joyful mysteries), a little later do the Sorrowful mysteries, and at bed do the Glorious or Luminous mysteries but even if that's too much, it takes just 10-15 minutes to pray one set of mysteries so just do one set a day.
I would memorize the mysteries over the long term but you can often find cards with the form at a local church or a Catholic bookstore.
