You can receive Holy Communion as the sin was not a grave matter. It's a common habit and even when it is not a continual habit, it can slip out in the right circumstances.

I caught my coat on a door handle this morning, heard a tear, and what came out of my mouth was not my best effort — especially in front of others. We are human and this fault is part of our nature when we react rather than think. It is a venial matter and with practice you will do better. In the meantime, don't be so hard on yourself.
