James Josephson wrote:

Hi, guys —

I have been reading through your site and I can really tell you people know what your talking about. I have a question but it might seem a little crude. I hope you won't be offended.

  • Why did God make people who poop and pee?

Sorry to ask you this question and thanks if you answer.

James

  { Why did God create people who poop and pee? }

Bob replied:

James,

God made us this way because He thought it was good and anything that keeps us healthy and enjoying all the fruits of creation is good.

If you did not eliminate waste you couldn't eat. Likewise, you couldn't draw a breath if you couldn't exhale.

  • What goes in is sorted and used by our bodies, and
  • What we don't use is eliminated.

It's pretty simple. I imagine in God's perfect world, before the fall, it wasn't as unpleasant but this is just the way it is.

Peace,

Bob Kirby

Mike replied:

Dear James,

Let me add this posting to what Bob has said. I think it will help. In it, I refer to a hierarchy of pleasures and purposes behind those pleasures.

Mike
