Catechism of the Catholic Church for Protestants, Jews and Muslims Program (CCCPJMP)

Catechism of the Catholic Church for Protestants, Jews and Muslims Program (CCCPJMP)

Catechism of the Catholic Church for Protestants, Jewish and Muslims Program (CCCPJMP)

How does it work?

If any Protestant is being drawn to the faith, thinking about becoming a Catholic OR is just interested in learning more about what the Roman Catholic Church believes and why, yet lacks the money, if they send me their snail/postal address I'll send them a FREE, Vatican approved, copy of Catechism of the Catholic Church. Just tell me where you want me to mail it by sending me your postal address. Although in places this program may be referred to as the CCCPP, sincere seeking Jewish or Muslims who are thinking about becoming Catholic are welcome as well!

There is only one practical prohibition: I'm assuming that you:

  • Can read and understand English
  • are age appropriate (16 years of age or older)

REQUIRED INFORMATION THAT MUST BE IN YOUR E-MAIL :

  1. Your FIRST and LAST name.
  2. Your current denomination (Christian is not good enough. Catholics are Christians.)
(If you don't belong to mainstream protestant faith or are church hopping,
    Non-denominational Christian is OK.)
  3. Your choice of HARD cover or SOFT cover
  4. Your complete, fully spelled out postal address including country and zip code.
  5. Either YES or NO to - Do you wish to share you e-mail with other participants who have participated in THIS program and may be on a similar faith journey as you are currently on.
  6. (For extra gift) Favorite color(s)
  7. Optional: Our new Web Page for Wannabes. (If interested, go to this page, click on the
"Click here" link on that page, fill in the appropriate fields and send me the e-mail.)

Nothing will be sent unless I have been e-mailed information from numbers 1. through 6. above. If you are also interested in the FREE Holy Rosary Program for Protestants program, you can use the same button at the bottom of this page. Just clearly type in the e-mail your interest and what preferred color Rosary you would like.

Out of courtesy to me and the time and effort I put into this free apostolate, in Christian charity I would expect:

  • that you are there when I send it
  • THAT YOU E-MAIL ME WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT
and most of all: that you take the time to read it. :)

I have about 5 people who I have sent Catechisms or Rosaries to, that I have never heard back from :(   Please give me the charity of confirming that you have received what I sent you via a reply e-mail.

Why am I doing this?

I don't think someone should have to pay to learn about a faith they know little or nothing about.

It's that simple! When I faith-share with my colleagues I remind them that the enemy is not a person; the enemy is ignorance of the faith! Like my good friend, Fr. Dan use to say: "Faith-sharing is just one beggar showing another beggar where The Bread is!"

Side note: I tend to throw in a few extra things. If you are not interested in them, just respectfully put them in your top desk drawer.

From April 2004 to February 21, 2008, 82 Catechisms have been mailed out to Protestants.
48 just in 2007: Including:

22 to Non-Denominational Christians
15 to Baptist/Southern Baptists
11 to Methodists
5 to Anglicans/Church of England
5 to Assembly of Gods
3 to Lutherans
2 to Church of the Nazarenes
2 to Pentecostals
2 to brothers of the Church of Christ/United Church of Christ
1 to a Presbyterian
1 to an Episcopalian
1 to a Jewish brother
1 to a Jehovah's Witness
1 to a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints/Mormon
1 to an Agnostic
9 We forgot to ask: Early in the Apostolate.

Again, I don't want to send out a Catechism, just to have it gather dust; If you want one, it is my expectation that you will strive to make the time to read it. :)

I'm interested in learning more about the Catholic faith!

Sorry, my Catholic brothers have to buy their own :)
