In the New Testament, Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus, Holy Spirit, and God the Father are three persons in one God. Jesus is now the face of God. When I pray, I picture Jesus.

No, thinking of Jesus does not mean you are ignoring the Father or the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the expression of the Father.

When you see me, you see the Father, said Jesus. (John 5:19)

The Holy Spirit is the Love of the Father that Jesus gives to you, as you pray in Jesus to the Father.
