Hi, guys —
- What are your thoughts on the switching of denominations within Christendom?
- And, if possible, could you please address some of the reasons why an individual may switch denominations?

What are your thoughts on switching Christian denominations and why do people switch? }

Paul replied:
Dear OpenMinded,
Some switch denominations for selfish reasons, but hopefully, most are searching for the Truth.
I would not be a Catholic unless I was fully convinced the Catholic Church is the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Timothy 3:15). She is the Church established by Christ, informed and guided by the Holy Spirit, with the fullness of grace and truth subsiding within her for the sake of our salvation.
Everything else is an alternative to what Christ Himself established.
Peace,
Paul

Paul,
Thank you very much for answering my question, it is greatly appreciated.
I see, those who switch denominations may feel spiritually lost and desire a belief they can truly devote themselves to, while others lack denominational loyalty and instead only desire spiritual enlightenment or fulfillment.
If this is incorrect please re-educate my understanding and, once again, thank you.
