Tim Age wrote:

Hi, guys —

  • While the Lord Jesus was on Earth, could the Virgin Mary have worshiped him?
  • Wouldn't it look weird bowing down to your own son in human form?

  { While the Lord was on Earth, could the Virgin Mary have worshipped Him and wouldn't it have looked weird bowing to your Son? }

Eric replied:

Hi, Tim —

She would have worshiped him, together with the Apostles, yes, once she understood his divinity.

It was already weird with the angel and the virginal conception and birth! Mothers have bowed down before their sons who were kings and popes, so I don't think conceptually it's that weird or out of the question but, yes, Jesus did receive worship, and I'd aver that the foremost among those to worship Him would be his own mother.
