Hi, guys —

I am a 58-year-old woman with grown children. I am divorced from my first husband and have since remarried a non-Catholic man. We have been married almost two years. My first marriage was annulled a couple of weeks ago.

My question is:

  • Since my first marriage has now been annulled, may I receive the Sacraments again?

Eric replied:

Hi, Mary —

Yes, you may, but need to get your current Marriage convalidated or blessed by the Church.  A good start would be to make an appointment with a priest at your parish to have the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

He would be able to assist you from there.

Welcome back!
