Hi, guys —
My use of birth control comes from when I realized I inherited my mother's periods; she eventually had to have a hysterectomy to stop losing so much blood. I lost so much blood and was in such pain that I eventually decided to go on what was technically contraception for the relief.
I'm still on it now, even though I have zero interest in dating.
I know that the Catholic Church teaches that any use of contraception within marriage is a sin; by the way,
I'm an Anglican.
I have practically no drive to date, marry or have children. I see myself as single for the rest of my life. I don't know why, but for some reason I've been called in that direction.
- Under the circumstances, if I never date or marry, can I continue using the birth control for the purposes I have mentioned?
