Contextually speaking No. Remember Proverbs (according to Hebrew Tradition) represent the wisdom of Solomon. Solomon asked God for one thing. That was wisdom to rule as a just and Godly ruler so, in the immediate context, we are talking about the wisdom of God. Also note that throughout Proverbs 8, we see the female pronoun is used for wisdom.

Now on a deeper level, we know that the Wisdom of God, is the Logos or the Word so there is a tradition (small t) that this wisdom is a symbol or metaphor for the Lord.

There is another tradition (again small t) among some Catholic writers that wisdom is metaphor for Mary. I find that tradition a bit more problematic because Mary was not there from the beginning. Although in the mind of God we were all there in the beginning because God stands outside of time.

Certainly wisdom, as described by Proverbs, can only be possessed entirely by one man and that is Jesus so it is certainly an attribute which can be seen as metaphor.

When interpreting the Scriptures, it's certainly best to, first and foremost, stick to the immediate context and that is, this is the Wisdom of God.
