If you were married in the Church, the only one who made a promise to raise the children Catholic is the Catholic party. The non-Catholic spouse is only a witness to the promise the Catholic spouse has made.

The sacraments of the Church are, what I call, our spiritual dynamite. In each and every sacrament Jesus touches our lives and by renewing our Covenant weekly at Mass, we are guided by Him in making proper Christian decisions for that week.
