Hi, guys —
I am not an official Catholic although I suspect I attend Mass a lot more frequently than most.
- Is it permissible for a non-Catholic to bring forward the gifts from the rear of the church to the officiating priest in the prelude to a communion or would this invalidate the Body or Blood?

Could a non-Catholic bring forward the gifts for the Mass without invalidating the Eucharist? }

Bob replied:
James,
It is possible and happens frequently at funerals and memorial Masses where loved ones and family of the deceased, who are not Catholic, play a part in the celebration.

Mike replied:
Hi, James —
Bringing the gifts to the altar would never invalidate the Eucharist.
