Hi, guys —

  • Could I have the e-mail address of:

    • Archbishop Albert Malcolm Ranjith Patabendige Don, and
    • Cardinal Francis?

Thank-you.

Mike replied:

Hi, Fr. Michael —

For most, if not all, e-mails like yours, we recommend Catholic Hierarchy at:

Catholic Hierarchy

Here are their pages:

Fr. Michael replied:

Dear Mike,

Christ's Peace.

Thank you  so  much  for your  kind  reply. I had gone through those web sites even before you sent me your reply. The reason I required the e-mail address is to get some urgent clarifications on a particular marriage case.

It will be grateful. I am an Indian Missionary member of Pime. I worked as a missionary in North Eastern part of India, Cambodia and Papua, New Guinea and now in Calgary, Canada.

Thank you so much.

Take care.

Love,

Fr. Mike

Fr. Nick replied:

Dear Fr. Michael,

Mike Humphrey sent me a copy of your e-mail. I would suggest that you contact the Vatican Nuncio in the country where he lives. The Vatican Ambassador has direct ties with the Holy See, and can provide whatever information or contacts would be needed for a marriage case at the local or Vatican level.

Interestingly enough, the Holy See has formal diplomatic relations with more countries in the world than any other sovereign nation.

In those nations in which the Holy See does not have a formal Ambassador, or Nuncio, they have a Diplomatic Attache.

The various bishop's Conferences report to the Nuncio.

Fr. Nick
