Hi guys,

This is Georgina, I have a question:

How does belief in God affect a person's life?

Thank you!

Gigi

  { How does belief in God affect a person's life? }

Mike replied:

Hi Gigi,

It transforms a person's life from a limited, earthly, when-you-die, that's-the-end, and all-I-see-is-black existence to one where the Catholic Christian sees [his/her] Earthly life as a drop in the bucket compared to eternity. {He/she} sees their Earthly lifetime as a period of time where, once God has affected your life, you can potentially affect other people's life via an active faith in Jesus and the Church He established on St. Peter and his successors.

Satan and his legion will always strive to give the Christian a reason for:

  • not caring about the Church or her Teachings
  • not participating in the life of the Church by renewing your Sunday Covenant, and
  • not supporting the Church by one or more of the three T's. Your:
    • Time
    • Treasure, and
    • Talent . . . in the life of your local parish.

because, this angel of light wants nothing but Hell for all mankind.

Receiving the sacraments in a state of grace on a regular basis along with a daily prayer life is the way the Catholic beat the heck out of Satan on a daily basis.

An active belief in God transforms you to bring Christ to others. Now you . . . and God working through you together, can then affect other people's lives.

Cool! . . . At least I think so!

Need an analogy: Watch a rerun of It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart.

I named my guardian angel after the one in that movie.

Hope this helps,

Mike
