Stephen Chizmar wrote:

Hi, guys —

  • Isn't it about time for the religious clergy to accept the existence of a Goddess; and not just a God?

More than one-half the population of this earth are women. Most, still exist, under the feet of brain-dead men who believe themselves to be gods.

You should be aware that the Holy Scriptures are full of sexist passages. Until this is corrected, the Scriptures are suspect.

No name calling, please. I state fact; not bullshit.

Stephen

  { Isn't it about time for the religious clergy to accept the reality of a Goddess; and not just a God? }

John replied:

Stephen,

God revealed Himself through the Person of Jesus Christ to be Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Three Persons of one substance, One God.

The Church can't go around inventing a Goddess to make radical feminists happy. The Church doesn't invent doctrines. She relies on Divine Revelation. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is meant to call us all to repent of our sin and accept the Mercy of God so that we may have eternal life. The Gospel is preached to save souls from sin and eternal death unto eternal life and a covenantal relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is not about empowering any particular group or making them feel good by creating a God fashioned to do so.

God — in the God Head — transcends gender however He has revealed Himself as a male.

This is why His Church is called She — because the Church is the Bride of Christ. Again, that's based on Divine Revelation. It's not a man-made construct as you have suggested.

Finally, we are here to answer questions of an apologetic nature, we are not here to answer politically motivated questions from people who have an axe to grind. We've carried on endless discussions with you, but you are unteachable.

We are here to share Catholic truths to those who are genuinely interested in learning them.

John

Mike replied:

Stephen,

My name is Mike Humphrey; I'm the Web Administrator of this little group.

I read every question that comes to the site (those posted and those that are not) and am familiar with your questions.

I want to re-affirm what my colleague John has said in the last paragraph of his answer.

We are a resource for confused Catholics, sincere seeking Protestants and non-Christians who are interested in seeking out the fullness of Christianity in Catholicism.

While the banner at the top of each of our web pages says, "Dialogue with us!", we have to make the distinction between fruitful, constructive dialogue and arguing for the sake of arguing based on:

  • a cultural agenda, or
  • as John said, some political agenda that the main stream media wishes to instill into Americans via the fake news media.

Second, if you fall into one of these categories:

  • confused Catholic, or
  • sincere seeking Protestant or non-Christian

you should be able to ask us your question politely without resorting to un-Christian language.

To call the Catholic faith, believed by more Christians worldwide than any other faith, billshit is to spit in the face, not only of Catholic Christians who hold to the one, true Faith, but in the face of Our Lord Himself, who, was both:

True God and True Man, consubstantial (meaning of one substance) with the Father, and who founded This Church.

That's just History 101; that's just fact Stephen!

To save us both time, please read the web page that can be found on our AskUs page:

We welcome those who know nothing about the Catholic faith or know nothing about Christianity, itself, but expect sincerity and courtesy in every question and reply as we dialogue.

It appears you are:

  • an uncatechized Christian
  • an anti-Catholic
  • a secularist, or
  • have taken your religious education from mainstream cable media like:
    • CNN (Clinton News Network)
    • MS-NBC (Mass Stupidity, No Brains Corporation), or
    • one of the three other fake news (CBS, ABC, or NBC) channels.

Our site is for:

  • Confused Catholics seeking clarity on teachings
  • non-Catholic Christians interested in our faith
  • non-Christians interested in our faith
  • fallen away Catholics, and
  • those interested in becoming a Catholic.

If you wish to ask future questions, I hope it can sincerely be done in a courteous manner.

If you are an uncatechized Christian and wish to have fruitful dialogue with us, consider buying a cheap copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church first and read it!

Mike
