Apologetic Support groups loyal to the Holy Father and Church's
magisterium
Charity, per se, is not going to
inspire your heart but the effects
of charity will inspire your heart.
When you give your time, talent, and
treasure to the Church, a friend
or an enemy in need, especially when
he or she doesn't expect it, the
natural law written on everyone's
soul will want to give thanks and
appreciation for your good works
and charity. They may not come right
out and say thank-you, especially
if you are charitable to an enemy,
but the impression will be made.
The more a person gives, without
any reason for the giving, your charity
will have an effect on those you
give the charity to. Inevitably,
they may be so impressed by your
generosity, they'll say internally,
I can't believe(he/she) has been
so nice to me; I'll like to be
like that person!
This is when they try to find out
more about your habits and activities.
In doing so you will have been a
martyr or witness to the Christian
faith.
St. Paul provides us with the guidelines
for charity:
The Apostle Paul has
given an incomparable depiction
of charity at the end of
CCC paragraph 1825:
Charity.
.
.
1825 Christ died out of love for us, while we were still enemies. (Romans 5:10) The Lord asks us to love as he does, even our enemies, to make ourselves the neighbor of those farthest away, and to love children and the poor as Christ himself. (cf. Matthew 5:44;;Luke 10:27-37; Mark 9:37; Matthew 25:40, 45)
The Apostle Paul has given an incomparable depiction of charity:
4 Charity is patient and kind, charity is not jealous or boastful; 5 it is not arrogant or rude. Charity does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. 7 Charity bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
