Dear Thomas —

Jesus was tempted to sin by Satan.

Temptation is never a sin. It arises from:

  • Satan
  • the world, or
  • the flesh (our disordered passions).

Christ's human nature felt fear, loathing, anger and sadness, but He always kept His Will in union with the Father's Will.
