Hi, guys —
Regarding the unpardonable sin, I have read there are essentially six sins against the Holy Spirit.
- Is it possible for one to repent and be forgiven of those sins?
I do know one, that you can't repent of, is final impenitence.

Hi, Joe —
Thanks for the question.
I have no idea where you got the idea that there are six sins against the Holy Spirit.
There is only one sin against the Holy Spirit and that is, as you correctly said, not being open to repenting of all our sins, otherwise known as final impenitence. From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
982 There is no offense, however serious, that the Church cannot forgive.
"There is no one, however wicked and guilty, who may not confidently hope for forgiveness, provided his repentance is honest." (Roman Catechism I, 11, 5)
Christ who died for all men desires that in his Church the gates of forgiveness should always be open to anyone who turns away from sin. (cf. Matthew 18:21-22)
I hope this helps,
Mike
