There is no one who can teach you what you seek other than Jesus Christ, who reigns eternally from Heaven — an eternal reality of the Godhead, which may be likened to another dimension beyond time and space.
It was He who cautioned us, "call no man Father . . . no man teacher or Rabbi . . . " (Matthew 23:9-10) He was essentially saying there is no human being that can get you to God. He alone claimed to be God, the only God, not simply a human teacher. He said,
"I am the way the truth and life, no one comes to the Father except through me."
(John 14:6)
This is a claim that no other guru or spiritual teacher has ever made. He was either:
- lying (a liar)
- deluded, (a lunatic) or
- telling the truth. (the Lord)
There is exceptional evidence that He was in fact not a liar, nor deluded, and was indeed telling the truth.
He said that:
"those who seek shall find; knock and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7-12)
All you need to do is simply open your heart to God and ask Him in the simplest terms to lead you into His truth. Read the Gospel of John in the Christian New Testament to hear Jesus' claims directly, and then meet with a Catholic priest or someone who has the authentic tradition of the teaching that was passed on through Jesus' Own Church to get further clarification.
There are many distortions and sad divisions amongst Christians, but there is a Church that has always been the historical core and caretaker of Jesus' Word and that is the Catholic Church.
We have the authentic, authorized version of the truth that Christ himself established.
His Apostles were given His Way, and they handed it on. Peter, chief among the Apostles, is today represented by the Pope, who carries out His office, not a reincarnation as the Dalai Lama claims, but a simple man entrusted with keeping the Church together.
You can find peace through prayer, meditation, and living in the Spirit of God, who will guide you into all truth. (John 16:13)
This is what you must seek if you want to be freed or liberated from the misery of this world.
