A couple Confessions ago, I didn't have contrition for my sins. I recently went to Confession, and forgot to confess having an invalid Confession. I remembered that after Confession. I haven't made the effort to go to confession as soon as possible now.
Am I allowed to receive Communion on Sunday?

Seth,
Not having contrition or a resolve to avoid the sins in the future makes the priest's absolution invalid. Contrition and a willingness to do penance are requisite for Christ's forgiveness to be received by the penitent.
If the sins of that particular Confession weren't mortal sins, you can still go to Communion.
If they were mortal sins, you must confess sacramentally before receiving Communion.
Regardless, it would be good to take all this to Jesus in your next Confession.

I did recently go to Confession sacramentally, after all of that, but after that sacramental Confession I remembered the invalid Confession.
Do you know if it's OK to receive Communion?

It seems my answer still holds — that if there were mortal sins, rather than just venial sins, in that invalid Confession in which you weren't contrite, you would have to wait until after you confess them again before receiving Communion.
Maybe my colleagues will have something to add to this.

Hi Seth,
I can't add much to Paul's very good answer.
That said, occasionally, I get caught in situations where I have to get to Confession but, especially in retail, most of the time I can't.
For those times where I can't receive the Blessed Sacrament sacramentally, at Communion time, I receive it spiritually by saying a Spiritual Communion.
Before I say my Spiritual Communion, I ask the Blessed Lord that I receive all the graces that I would normally receive sacramentally, spiritually.
Spiritual Communion
O Lord Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.
I love you above all things, (with all my mind, with all my heart, and with all my soul).
I love you because you are infinitely good and worthy of all my love.
Since I cannot receive You now sacramentally, at least come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace myself entirely to You and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Come Lord Jesus and glorify Yourself through my weak, broken body.
Amen.
