You would have to take your situation to your local
pastor, as there are many possible variables.
Because marriage is monogamous and permanent, it
is possible to be married in the Catholic Church
only if her previous marriage is invalid for some
reason.
In addition, if she:
- is not baptized
- wishes to now be baptized Catholic
- and if her previous spouse does not wish to continue
the union.
it is possible that her previous union could be
dissolved by the Pauline Privilege.
Your pastor can help you find the factors for validity
that may apply in her case.
In the meantime, you must both live chastely.
