Dear WantsToKnow —
Each situation is slightly different.
The first step always involves making
an appointment with the local priest
and explaining all the circumstances.
Any answer we might give may not
take into mind every nuance of the
specific situation.
It is possible to get the marriage
blessed or convalidated so
long as it was the first marriage
for both them; that much we can tell
you.
In general, it is not a very complicated
process. Like I said, have them go
speak to a priest and start the process.
I'm sure he'll be thrilled to welcome
a Catholic back into the fold and
welcome a Pentecostal brother and
his family in fellowship, as brother
Christians.
