Hi, guys —
- Is it necessary to go to Sunday Church School in order to bury your parents in a Catholic way?
My mother is trying to get me to go so I can learn whatever the procedure or process is to bury Catholic relatives.
Though my parents are Catholic, I do not share any of their beliefs.

Eric replied:
Henry —
It is not required. The ability to bury someone pretty much depends on the person being buried, not the person burying.
Even if I am wrong (which is possible), it certainly doesn't depend on one's schooling.

Henry replied:
Thank you, Eric —
The reason why I asked was because my mother, who is now angered, thinks I have to attend Sunday Church School and learn whatever it is in order to bury her properly at a Catholic cemetery.

Mary Ann replied:
Dear Henry —
For her to receive a Catholic burial service she must be a Catholic, but you can call the cemetery to see who can be buried there.
