Will an enrollment in the Association of Marian Helpers for 15 years equal 30 Gregorian Masses? }

Mary Ann replied:
Hi, Leslie —
No, they are different things.
The Gregorian Masses are Masses for the faithfully departed said specifically for the person, and are said on 30 consecutive days.
The Marian Helpers enrollment simply includes a person with a group that is remembered as a group in the daily Mass of the priests who say Mass, either:
- as an intention included when they pray for the departed during the Eucharistic prayer
- as part of the prayers of the faithful, or
- some other general way by which all donor's faithful departed are included.

Hi, Leslie —
Whatever you decide, in addition to having a set of Masses said for your loved ones, you may want to consider starting a perpetual prayer program in their honor. It's also a great way to network with other faithful Catholics on a regular basis and talk about the faith.
I've created another website just for this purpose called HelpersOfTheHolySouls.
We also have a Purgatory Prayer Program starter kit we can send you for FREE. If you are interested, go here and get your program today:
