Hi Holly,
Thanks for the question.
You said:
- Do I have to be Catholic to be married in a Catholic Church?
<No, but read the first posting below.>
- What does it take to become Catholic?
<Check the FAQ, the second posting below.>
- What is proper dress attire for a woman's wedding dress in a Catholic Church?
To my knowledge there is no proper dress attire for a woman's wedding dress in the Church.
For attendance at Sunday Mass, proper dress would be something that is modest, unpretentious, and becoming for a woman.
These postings should answer questions 1 and 2, if not, just come back with some follow-up questions:
- Can I marry a non-Catholic in the Catholic Church and how do I ask her to convert to Catholicism?
- How does one become a Catholic?
Many answers to questions like these are in our searchable knowledge base.
Try next time for a quick answer!
I hope this helps,
Mike
