Hi, guys —

I have been a Catholic before but I converted to Islam few years back.

After careful reasoning, I want to come back into the Catholic Church.

  • What is the procedure to do so?

Thank you.

Roshan

Eric replied:

Roshan —

Simply receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). You can make an appointment with a priest or most parishes have scheduled times on Saturday afternoons.

The latter would afford the opportunity to be Anonymous. If you've forgotten how to do it (or have never been to Confession) the priest can guide you or you can first look it up on the internet.

Welcome home!

Eric

Bob replied:

Roshan,

That is good news; we are glad to have you. Just contact your local parish and talk to a priest about Confession and where you are at.

If you have never taken an RCIA program or religious education as an adult, it may be a good thing to do now, especially if you haven't received all your Sacraments.

God bless you and welcome back!
