Hi, guys —

Is it wrong to burn sage in my home to get rid of evil spirits?

Eric replied:

Burning sage is a pagan religious rite ― we'd strongly discourage you from doing it. It may even have the opposite effect.

I recommend instead you burn candles blessed by a Catholic priest, or Catholic incense like frankincense. You can also put medals of St. Benedict around the corners of your property, or over your doors and windows, or get salt blessed and put that down or use it in your cooking.

Whatever you use, be sure to first get it blessed by a Catholic priest.

P.S.  All the recommendations I am giving are specifically intended to drive away evil spirits.
