Hi, guys —

My ex-boyfriend and I broke up because he wanted to be a full-fledged Freemason. We had a good relationship, but he suddenly turned very radical about Freemasonry. He decided he could not give it up and I decided that I could not bend my faith and continue seeing him while allowing him to be involved with it. It broke my heart to let go of what we had but if he could not quit, my understanding is we cannot technically get married since he cannot partake in the sacraments.

  • Did I make the right decision?
  • Are there any other people (women whose partners are/were Freemasons) who have been in my position and can offer advice?

Any help would be appreciated.  : )

Dear A. G. —

You definitely made the right decision.

With Freemasonry, you can get involved with the demonic.

I am not aware of any helpful resources, though; perhaps one of my colleagues will have some.

For other (visitors/readers), just e-mail Mike any helpful resource.

Eric
