Hi, guys —
I was married once in a Catholic Church. We had two children. I was told that if I get an annulment that my children will no longer be seen in the Eyes of God.

Rick,
No, it is not. Canon law says:
Canon 1061, §3
§3. † An invalid marriage is called putative if at least one party celebrated it in good faith, until both parties become certain of its nullity.
