Timothy Windmen wrote:

Hi, guys —

My daughter made her First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the Catholic Church however, she fell away from the Church for ten years and got married outside of the Church.

Now she wants to return to the Catholic Church. She recently went to Confession and now she would like to receive Communion again.

  • Can she do this?

Eric replied:

Timothy,

She should set up an appointment with her local pastor and discuss the situation and what would be required to regularize her situation.

There are too many variables and unknowns for laymen such as us to judge this over the Internet.

Eric
