I was able to get out that I had stolen something but then the priest asked what did I steal and I could not clearly answer him due to anxiety, shame, and fear. My reply was vague, with no specifics. It took me so much to get there and his question, asking for specifics, totally threw me off.

Normally they do not ask probing questions like that.

If he absolved you, you are absolved and there is no need to reconfess.
