It depends on how the statement was meant.
- If the implication is that God is evil, then yes the statement would be blasphemous and a grave sin.
- If, on the other hand, it is meant to suggest that since evil exists there must be a corollary to that, which is the necessary contrast by which evil is defined as evil, then no, it is not wrong.
Intention is key.
