Dear Dillion,
First, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
This is a common question; it's even in our searchable knowledge base:
https://www.AskACatholic.com/SiteSearch
There are a lot of quick answers there, so give it a try.
I searched the knowledge base for you and found this web posting that should help:
The first web posting below has my set of (CAR) Catholic Apologetic Resources recommendations and resources:
Reading the Catechism would be the best first step because you have to know the faith you want to join. After that, make an appointment with a local pastor known for his faithfulness to the Church's teachings and share with him your desire to become a Catholic. He will probably set you up to join a RCIA program. This will give you the ability to learn more about the faith and the sacraments of the Church.
At that time, ask him what ministries his parish has to offer, and find one you feel comfortable with. This is a great way to meet new friends that have the same, or similar, vocation and faith journey as you do.
If you have any further questions just ask us.
I hope this helps,
Mike
