Those that are in union with God in this life, and die in that state, continue into eternity in God's friendship and love. This is Heaven, and it is not only reserved for those who are baptized Catholics. However, God did establish a Church so that people may have the optimal way to love God and remain in His grace. Hence, the Catholic Church is the best, most sure way to the Father (i.e. Heaven). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one gets to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

The fullness of Jesus is found, and offered, in the Catholic Church, which He:

• established
• animates, and
• continues to guide until He comes again.

Those who through no fault of their own do not realize this truth might obtain salvific grace in other ways known only to God.
