Only Matthew and John are Apostles.
Mark and Luke are known as Evangelists,
although so are Matthew and John
in certain contexts.
It is pretty well established that
Matthew, Luke, and John composed
their own gospels. Mark is said to
be a secretary for Peter, so while
he did write the Gospel, in the sense
of penning it,
the contents may have been more from
Peter's mind.
