Peter Simmons wrote:

Hi, guys —

I was on a site a day or so ago and some guy who calls himself (padre) was saying that he was able to obtain my guardian angel's name for me and he communicated with him on my behalf.

He ultimately said that some bad luck I have been having was due to some type of payment from some past lives, however my life was going to get much better in the next 2-3 weeks. Of course he wanted a donation of $69.00.

  • What kind of scam is this?

By the way he said my guardian angel's name was Hariel.

Peter

  { Can someone find your guardian angel's name and talk to them or is this some kind of scam? }

Paul replied:

Dear Peter,

The Church tells us not to name our guardian angels. It is God's job to name angels. All else you mention about this scam artist is nonsense.

Peace,

Paul

Mike replied:

Hi, Peter —

You said:
He ultimately said that some bad luck I have been having was due to some type of payment from some past lives . . .

The Church never has never, and will never, believe in past lives. As Christians, we believe we fulfill our vocation in this Earthly pilgrimage then pass on to our Particular Judgment.

Hope this helps,

Mike

Peter replied:

Dear Paul,

Thanks!

Peter
