Hi, guys —
At the beginning of a typical Mass, we normally say the Penitential Act:
I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, through my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask the Blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to PRAY for me to the Lord our God. |
I'd like to pray for my brothers and sisters.
- What prayer should I use?
Thank You,
R. Snyder |

Dear R. Snyder,
You can pray however you want. You can pray the Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with Novena, or make up your own prayer, for example:
"Lord, I bring before you all my brothers and sisters in Christ and ask you to forgive them of their sins and bring them to everlasting life." |
