Hi, guys —

I have just found out that our Catholic bishop is attending monthly meetings of the Freemason order. I know from several sources, including Catholic priests, who have proof from various sources that the bishop of our diocese attends various Masonic social functions, including a monthly breakfast get together.

In my research, I have read that this is a violation of Canon Law! This bishop of the diocese of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, at the time of this posting, is not a good example to the Catholic Faith.

  • Please offer me some advice in this matter!

Thank you!

Dave

  { Where do I report a bishop who is violating Canon Law by attending monthly Freemason meetings? }

Bob and Mike gave the following team answer:

Friend,

I would suggest you contact the (USCCB) United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and after a few weeks, follow up with them if necessary. These Administrative offices may also be helpful.

You could be following or spreading a rumor. It needs to be verified by someone with the authority to rebuff this bishop. If you send a letter make it short and to the point.
