Hi Prajwal,
I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with this custom (not
that it isn't a noble idea). Perhaps one of my colleagues
has heard of it. Not knowing your culture, I hesitate
to offer an answer, but traditionally, Catholics
name things after Saints.
- One obvious, if perhaps, well-worn and not particularly
creative choice, is St. Thomas.
- A better choice might be St. Alfonsa, the first
canonized Indian Saint.
- You could choose St. Joseph, the patron of families,
or
- St. Raphael, the patron of marriages.
- If you have a strong devotion to a particular
Saint, that might be a good choice, too.

Prajwal,
I have a great idea. Name it after the Indian name
of the first canonized saint from India.
I think it's time we started broadening our use
of saint's names to include the native names of non-Western saints and thus popularizing them.

Hi Prajwal,
I would echo my colleague Eric's comments.
At a nearby Catholic parish we have a separate meeting house which has various offices and is used
for meetings, talks, etc.
Although it's called St. Joseph's house, each room
within the house itself is dedicated to a particular
saint.
- St Thomas's room
- St. Elizabeth's room
- St. John's room
- St. Theresa's room
- etc.
Hope this helps,
Mike
