Hi there,
My wife's family has a tradition of money not changing
hands on Good Friday; probably related to Judas' payment.
I am wondering if this is a common practice among Catholics
or is it a part of Church doctrine?
If you could help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
I haven't heard of that, but it seems like a nice
pious custom.

Hi Steve,
I haven't heard of it either. It wouldn't be a doctrine
even if I had heard of it; it's not a belief but
a discipline or custom.
Sounds like a worthwhile
custom.
