Hi, Martin —

Yes, essentially it is adultery, although (if I understand what you mean) it usually involves fraud as well. To confess it, just briefly explain the situation to the priest and indicate you've taken the proper steps to rectify it (whether it is putting away your second wife, getting an annulment, or what have you). For example:

"Father, after having married a woman in the Church, I fraudulently married another woman on the side while still married to the first. I carried on this way for ten years, lying to both women and explaining my absences as business trips.

I have divorced the second woman, ended our relationship, and provided for her well-being. I firmly intend not to do this again."
