The Church has no stand on issues that fall outside the realm of issues dealing with faith and morals.

Although your question falls outside this area, one would hope, out of basic Christian courtesy,
that any religious chain e-mail has an opt-out at the bottom of the e-mail.

I've never seen one that does, but I think they all should.

If they don't, and you don't wish to receive one, you should politely send a reply to the sender,
asking [him|her] to stop sending these types of e-mails.

When you reflect on it though, religious chain e-mails are usually as sign of piety among the faithful: a good sign to see within the Church.
