It makes her someone who was human, but who never
sinned.
She was tempted all of her life, unlike Adam and
Eve, who:
- were also free of original sin
- had further gifts
- but who fell at the first temptation.
So I would say that makes Mary a very strong woman,
yet she, herself, says that her strength came from
her lowliness, her meekness, that is, her complete
reliance on God.
