We are getting married in Ireland. My fiancé is
Irish and I am Lithuanian. He has his Baptismal
and Confirmation certificate; my priest in
Lithuania has my Baptismal certificate but
he said they do not hold Confirmation records.
Will this be an issue?
My priest said he needs it.
Can this be bypassed?

Do I need my Confirmation certificate in order for us to get married or can it be bypassed? }
Mary
Ann replied:
Hi, Rima —
He needs your Baptismal certificate.
The Confirmation information is usually noted
on the Baptismal certificate.
You do not need to be confirmed in
order to wed.
