Thanks for the question.
Assuming the whole family had been originally baptized in the Catholic Church and, as a family, you left for the Episcopal church, all of you would want to go to Confession and share your desire to return to the Catholic Church to the Confessor. He would be able to give you the appropriate counsel and penance.
In certain instances a recitation or re-affirmation of one of the Catholic Creeds, like the Nicene Creed, may be required. This would be for someone with a more of a known public standing within the community and beyond.
It's important to realize that communion in the Episcopal church is different than Communion in the Catholic Church. Episcopalians don't have a valid Eucharist because they don't have a valid priesthood.
When a Catholic receives Holy Communion they are not only receiving the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ, but are making a public statement that they are in a Common Union with the teachings of the Church.
For this reason, you would want to make an appointment with the pastor to enroll your daughter in First Communion classes at the parish. When doing so, you can re-introduce yourself to the parish and find out what ministries the parish has that you can get involved in. It's a great way to meet new friends quickly!

It's also a great habit to go to Confession on a regular basis. The bishops of America suggest Catholic families go at least once a month.
