Dear Friends,

I would like to ask a spiritual question.

  • If someone has a paranormal or spiritual visit, how would one know the difference between an:
    • Angel
    • Demon, or
    • a good Spirit?

Thank you for your time.

Kevin

  • Can an act or claim of repentance cleanse the soul?

If you pray for protection through Christ or his angels or saints, you can obtain protection.

As far as determining what kind of presence of spirits is around you that requires the gift of discernment by the Holy Spirit. When you are in the state of grace and are close to God your sense of discernment may increase as the presence of the Holy Spirit abounds in you.

There is natural virtue in us all to a more or lessor degree, and likewise God can imbue His own goodness in one who is not baptized, however, we are not saved by our own virtue or even good works alone but by the Divine act of redemption in Christ Jesus and our response to God with our Yes or No.

Obedience, cooperation with divine grace, and perseverance, all signify the Christian life by which God brings to fulfillment His work of redemption. If one is saved apart from being an explicit follower of Christ it is simply because God has no limitation and can do what He wills provided one does not say no to Him.

Peace,

Bob K.
