Dear Gabriela,
You should not try to baptize your baby because you want to ensure this critical sacrament is administered correctly. Except in case of emergency, only a priest or deacon may lawfully baptize into the Catholic Church.
Make an appointment with your local Catholic pastor to talk about having her baptized right away.
Canon Law states that there has to be one male Catholic Godparent and one female Catholic Godmother.
You cannot have a non-Catholic Christian as a sponsor because they would not be able to support the parents in raising the child as a Catholic.
It would make no sense to have a baptized non-Catholic Christian stand in as a Godparent when they would deny the teachings of the Catholic faith.
I hope this helps,
Mike
