Thanks for the question.
If you are a Catholic, more than likely, there has to be a Baptismal certificate in a Catholic parish somewhere close to where you have lived up to now.
If your parents are Anglican, I would guess that you never received any Catholic catechetical instruction in the faith.
For this reason, you want to make an appointment with the pastor at a local Catholic parish that is faithful to the Church and ask:
- To confirm that you were baptized in the Church, and
- Ask to participate in the local RCIA program.
Besides learning what we believe as faithful Catholics, RCIA can be a great opportunity where you can meet new friends and discover ministries that you may have a vocational calling to.
