You already have a pretty good spiritual experience set in place for your father.

The only thing I would add is the Chapel of Divine Mercy. I said the chapel when both my parents passed away. It has some great promises that have been approved by the Church.

From Sister Faustina's Diary:

Jesus told her: "Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior." (Diary, 1541)

Earlier, our Lord said to her, ”At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the indulgence is the same." (Diary, 811)

I would only add that there are many wonderful Scriptures, especially in the Gospels, that you could share as family in your prayer time. Jesus spoke about:

• The Kingdom of Heaven
• His Father's house, and
• There being many mansions

In addition, the Epistles of Saint Paul, in particular his Epistle to Philippians speak of Joy . . .
the Joy that comes from being in God's presence.
